Do I need to know how to swim to snorkel?
No! Our snorkel site is a shallow, calm, often wadeable sand-bottom area, and we provide flotation — floats, noodles, and paddleboards. Beginners and nervous swimmers do great, and our crew keeps everyone safe.
Will I get seasick?
Very unlikely. We sail the shallow waters of Florida Bay (often under 7 feet deep) with no currents, tides, or open-ocean waves — so there's minimal boat motion. It's ideal for guests prone to motion sickness and young children.
Where do we meet — do you have a marina?
We come to you. Private bayside pickups are available between Mile Marker 92 (MM92) and MM103 in Key Largo. We'll confirm your exact pickup spot and time when you book.
What's your weather / cancellation policy?
Your safety comes first and the captain makes the final call. If we cancel for weather before departure, there's typically no fee — we'll reschedule or refund. We monitor conditions and can help you choose the best day.
Are the trips really private, and good for all ages?
Yes on both. Every Carolina Moon charter and eco tour is fully private — the boat is yours. Calm shallow water makes our snorkel and sunset trips great for families with kids and grandparents alike.
